Core Priorities
Making a Difference Together
At Sustainable Stouffville, our mission is guided by three core priorities that work together to drive meaningful climate action in our community.
Climate Literacy
Empowering Sustainable Communities
Understanding the climate crisis is essential to addressing it. We work with residents, businesses, and local organizations to provide credible, accessible information about climate realities and the actions our leaders and communities must take to both mitigate and adapt to climate impacts. Through social media and educational resources, we share trustworthy insights that help build an informed, empowered community.
Community Engagement
Connecting Our Community
Community is at the heart of everything we do. We create opportunities for connection, learning, and participation—offering educational events, resources, and engagement opportunities that empower residents to take action together.
Action
Local Action for Climate Change
Real change begins at the local level. Sustainable Stouffville is powered by residents committed to advancing effective policies and programs that address climate change in our own backyard.
