The Sustainable Stouffville is a not-for-profit organization advocating for local climate action through enhancing the climate and environmental literacy of local residents and businesses in the Town of Whitchurch Stouffville.
We are founded on the desire to create a platform that will engage our community members in taking bold, local climate action while also working to develop our own community-led solutions. Our approach is community-centred and solutions-oriented.

Vision - Sustainable Stouffville envisions a vibrant, resilient community where collaboration drives collective action on environmental and climate issues, empowering all members to work together toward a sustainable future and a healthier planet for generations to come.
Our Mission
Mission - We want to join with like-minded people, organizations, and businesses to broaden our knowledge so that we can make changes in our daily lives that will have a long-term impact locally and on the planet. We believe that no one can do everything—but everyone can do something. Every little bit helps.

Climate literacy - We are working with community residents, businesses and organizations to educate, inform, and empower our communities to understand not only the reality of the climate crisis but of the actions our elected leaders and communities need to take in order to mitigate and adapt to the climate change impacts.
Through our social media and on-line educational resources, we will be sharing credible sources on all things climate.
Climate Action - Sustainable Stouffville is comprised of empowered residents who are passionate about using effective policy and legislation to take action on addressing climate change at the local level.
Community Engagement - Community is at the center of why we do what we do. Our community is a powerful vehicle for creating change at a local level.
Through our work, we provide educational events, resources, and engagement opportunities for community members.
