On Saturday, September 13, Sustainable Stouffville hosted a Guided Bike Ride and Active Transportation Workshop that introduced participants to active transportation and safe cycling practices. The family-friendly program began at the Adventure Zone and included a short discussion followed by a 3 to 5 km guided bike ride through the community.
Participants learned how to ride safely, navigate local routes, and cycle confidently as a group. Riders brought their own bicycles and helmets or borrowed equipment through the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library Lendery Program, with a limited selection available on a first-come basis for those with a library card. Registration for the event was managed through the Library’s website, and the session welcomed riders of all ages and experience levels.
