As part of the Sustainable Stouffville Speaker Series, Get Ready to Ride took place on May 31, 2025, at the Stouffville Library and Adventure Zone. This interactive, hands-on session brought together eight engaged participants for a practical introduction to basic bicycle maintenance and repair.
Participants learned how to perform essential safety checks and prepare their bikes for the riding season. The session included a lively question-and-answer component, helpful tips and tricks, and information on using the Library Lendery for bike-related tools and equipment. Everyone left with increased confidence, a safety-checked bike, new knowledge, and a bike bell to support safer, more active transportation in the community.
