On July 5, 2025, Sustainable Stouffville took part in Discovery Day, a community celebration hosted by the Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library. The event welcomed over 200 participants and offered families a full day of exploration, learning, and connection through hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and creative workshops led by local community partners.
Sustainable Stouffville connected with residents of all ages, sharing practical information on rain barrels, active transportation, and the local seed library. Throughout the day, we gave away hundreds of seeds and more than 80 bike bells, helping participants take simple, meaningful steps toward more sustainable everyday choices.
